Access scope is determined by your OAuth token in Box. Revoke the token upstream and access ends immediately.
What it can access
- Files and folders you have access to in Box
- File metadata including version history
- Comments and tasks on accessible files
- Shared link contents you can view
What it cannot do
- Cannot access files that are not shared with you
- Does not permanently delete files
- Does not change sharing or retention settings without explicit confirmation
- Cannot access resources outside your OAuth scopes
