Access scope is determined by your OAuth token in Google Chat. Revoke the token upstream and access ends immediately.
What it can access
- Messages in spaces you belong to
- Direct message threads you participate in
- Space and member metadata
- Shared files referenced in conversations
What it cannot do
- Cannot access spaces or DMs you are not a member of
- Does not send messages on your behalf without explicit confirmation
- Cannot access resources outside your OAuth scopes
- Does not modify space membership or admin settings
